Procedure: TDX / Add time to a ticket

Objective

  • To instruct individuals or groups that have been tasked with tracking their time in TeamDynamix with the necessary steps for doing so

User

  • Specific members of the Technology Support Services (TSS) group
  • Specific members of the AccessMU group

Environment

  • 10374: TeamDynamix (TDX)

Procedure

A time-type is already attached to a ticket

  1. In TDX, select Actions
  2. Select Update
  3. Record your time using the drop down at the top

 

No time-type is associated with the ticket

  1. In TDX, select Edit
  2. Select the Time Accts tab
  3. Select Add
  4. Select the appropriate time types (you may select more than one time type)
  5. Select Save
  6. Select To Detail
  7. Select Actions
  8. Select Update
  9. Record your time using the drop-down at the top

 

Note

  • If you logged a ticket in the closed status that has a time type associated, you may log your time directly on the page that appears with your ticket number
