• To provide a link to a Canvas Guide article on allowing extra time for a student to complete a timed Canvas quiz

Resolution

• Review this Canvas Guide on how to give your students extra time on a published timed quiz 
  • If using an Until Date use the +Add to create a separate Until date for an accommodation
  • Set up the Moderate settings before students with an accommodation begin the quiz
  • Once a quiz has begun each student gets a version of the test the settings cannot be changed 
    • Students must complete the quiz before an additional attempt or time can only be set up before the next attempt
