Canvas / Remove the access code from a quiz

Objective

• To provide instruction on removing the proctored access code from a quiz 

User

• Canvas Instructor

Environment

• 10185: Canvas

Cause

• Quiz is set up to be proctored

Resolution

1. Open your Canvas course
2. Find the quiz requiring an access code
3. Select Edit
4. Find Quiz requirements
5. Un-check Require access code
6. Select Save

• To allow a student to take the exam without Proctorio as an exception, follow these KB instructions to disable Proctorio
