Rationale

• By default, student names are shown in the Gradebook, but you can hide student names in the Gradebook to remove bias in grading. (Hiding names also hides secondary IDs)
  • Because hiding names is a Gradebook setting and not a course setting, this feature does not guarantee that all assignments will be graded anonymously
• This feature hides names for all students displayed in the Gradebook. By default, only active students are shown; inactive and concluded enrollments are not shown of the Gradebook unless enabled in the Gradebook settings
