The Miami ID is the official university identification, providing students, faculty, and staff access to essential campus services. While Miami University has transitioned to a Digital ID as the default format, physical ID cards remain available upon request. The ID allows access to campus buildings, meal plans, MUlaa debit accounts, recreation centers, library services, and more.

Miami University's Call Center Service enabled Miami managed Interactive Voice Response systems (IVR) that empowers departments and administrative offices to efficiently manage high volumes of incoming and outgoing telephone communications. Whether it's assisting students, addressing inquiries, or streamlining departmental operations, this service ensures responsive and organized phone-based interactions.
Miami University provides centralized tools and support for reserving classrooms, meeting spaces, and event venues across campus. This service helps ensure appropriate use of campus spaces while supporting the logistical needs of classes, meetings, and events—from small group gatherings to large conferences. 25Live is Miami's enterprise room scheduling platform although some departments use google calendar resources or other tools for specific rooms under their control.
The Electronic/Digital Fax Processing service enables Miami University faculty, staff, and students to send and receive faxes directly from their computers, eliminating the need for traditional fax machines. This service streamlines document transmission, supporting both internal and external communications in a secure and efficient manner.

The Student Information System (SIS) provides the foundational technology platform that supports student records, academic progress, course registration, and other key student lifecycle processes. The SIS is the system of record for all academic and enrollment data for undergraduate and graduate students at Miami University.
Miami is actively transitioning from our old SIS, primarily Banner, to Workday Student. This service centers on the future target in Workday Student, Miami’s modern cloud-based student information platform, and includes other integrated systems and tools that enable academic planning, advising, registration, grading, and degree progress tracking.

Miami University provides approximately 90 channels of entertainment, information, and educational television programming via streaming and a more traditional cable television in very limited situations. All students living in residence halls have automatic access to the Miami University - personal streaming service. The Miami University Community streaming service is available in select common areas or administrative conference rooms, or individual faculty or staff offices. Traditional cable television service still available in a limited number of buildings (Marcum conference center and some athletic facilities)
Allows faculty and staff to make permanent and convenient paper documents and records useful to complete work assignments and create durable records for record retention purposes and information distribution.
Provides document storage offerings (e.g., M-drive, MUFiles, etc.) and commercial services like Google Drive. Web document storage allows users to store and collaborate on documents and other files over the internet. Documents stored using these services will remain available if the client’s computer breaks, because the documents are “backed up” on the web document storage service.
