Canvas / Email does not include attachment

Issue

  • I did not get an attachment a student emailed to me through Canvas
  • A student submitted assignments by mail, and I did not receive an attachment

Cause

  • Any attachments sent from personal mail in reply to a Canvas message will be dropped

Resolution

  • Instruct your student to log in to Canvas to send the attachment 
  • Or instruct your student to send the attachment to you by direct email
  • Or instruct your student to submit the document to an assignment or discussion

    • Office hours and support will be offered throughout each term. Look for an announcement in Canvas and an email to all faculty.
